Not Christmas! We’re sorry — we weren’t talking about Christmas! We were just talking about every other day between now and March. Whoever came up with the phrase “dark night of the soul” said it right after “It’s only 4:57pm? It looks like the middle of the night out there!”. No matter how holly and jolly your Christmas may be, we can’t be convinced that it sufficiently compensates for the rest of the season.

But here we are. At the precipice of winter. We made this list for anyone who has felt the degradation of walking to work in a polar vortex. For those who prefer that their après-ski is actually sans ski. For anyone who knows the true Naked and Afraid is that dreaded part of a winter day when you have to change out of your warm clothes.

This is for you. These looks are meant to take you from day to night-to-day-to-night in the only way that matters during the months of November through February. In other words, clothes you only have to change out of for a nice, hot shower and then change right back in. Or better yet, skip the shower all together -- we probably will. Get cozy and buckle in — it’s going to be a cold, bumpy ride.
